Sinopec and PetroChina are expected to sell a combined 3.1m tonnes of gasoline and gasoil in east China’s Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai in February, down by 60,000 tonnes or 1.9% from January, company sources said.

The month-on-month drop was mainly due to fewer calendar days in February, which is a traditional slack season for oil product consumption, market sources said.
