As there are less than 30 days left for the opening of the 11th China International Offshore Oil & Gas Exhibition (ciooe), U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai values highly this show planning to send business officials for investigation, moreover, setting an exhibit booth to give support and service to those exhibitors from U.S., according to the organizing committee of ciooe.

In the wake of the booming of offshore equipment market in China in recent years, the Yangtze River Delta, gathered amounts of excellent offshore equipment enterprises, has become the core high-end offshore equipment manufacturing research and development area of China.

A large number of foreign-funded enterprises, engaging in petroleum and petrochemical field, aiming at Shanghai, regard Shanghai as a centre to develop business in China.

Smart and wise American enterprises think China's offshore oil field is especially promising, hoping to know and then access to the market with the help of ciooe platform, one business official of U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai said.

Reached a cooperation agreement with ciooe, the consulate, seeing ciooeShanghai 2012 as a good beginning, on this basis, will organize large-scale American pavilion to attend ciooe2013.

Mr. Ricardo Pelaez, business consular of U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai commercial counsellor's office, will attend offshore engineering summit concurrent held with ciooe to discuss hot issues in offshore equipment field with other participants, based on the organizing committee of ciooe.

In addition, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in China shows its willing to support ciooe by inviting their members who located in China to visit on the spot so as to search for more cooperation opportunities.
