The Sudanese and Chinese governments agreed Saturday to upgrade the Khartoum Oil Refinery and increase its output capacity.
The agreement was reached by Sudanese Petroleum Minister, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz and Vice-president of the state-run China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Wang Dongin, according to a statement by Sudanese Ministry of Petroleum.
The two sides discussed the preparations for the resumption of the flow of South Sudan oil exports via the Sudanese territories, the statement added.
