The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said Wednesday that there will be no change in the prices of gasoline and diesel this time.
The price regulatory attributed this to the pricing regime which did not meet the standard.
According to the regime, domestic oil costs will be adjusted when international crude oil prices reflect a change of more than 50 yuan ($8.25) per ton of gasoline and diesel over 10 working days.
However, the NDRC said the price change per ton is less than 50 yuan.
The latest cut fell on January 25, as the per-ton retail price of gasoline fell by 130 yuan and diesel by 125 yuan.
