Russian oil major Rosneft will supply nine million tons of oil per year to its refinery joint venture with PetroChina in Tianjin from 2020, CEO Igor Sechin said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel on Monday.
Rosneft expects an investment decision for the Tianjin refinery to be made in March 2016. The construction must be finished until the end of 2019, the company said earlier.
Earlier on Monday Russia and China signed in Beijing a technical agreement on a temporary change of the point of oil delivery to China for 2015-2017, in line with which Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft will be able to additionally supply 5 million metric tons of oil annually to the country.
