Sinopec Zhanjiang Dongxing Petrochemical is planning to process 140,000 tonnes of crude in April, with the daily throughput down by 65.6% month on month, a company source told C1.
The company shut its refinery for a 50-day turnaround on 10 April, according to the source.
Zhanjiang Dongxing Petrochemical set its crude throughput target for 2012 at 4.3m tonnes, down by 14.7% year on year, ICIS C1 reported earlier.
Zhanjiang Dongxing Petrochemical, located at Zhanjiang in south China’s Guangdong province, has a crude processing capacity of 5m tonnes/year. Its oil products are mainly supplied to the Pearl River Delta and southwest China.
